About Me

Anna Tveten (ah-na tweet-en) resides in Minnesota with her husband and three children. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English with an emphasis in creative writing and a minor in film from Minnesota State University Moorhead. After working for a few years as a paraprofessional, she went back to obtain her degree in education from Dickinson State University. She has taught middle and high school English for the last eleven. Sharing her love of dance, Anna coached middle and high school dance teams for eleven years. 

Living in the Upper Midwest, Anna enjoys writing about life in the frozen tundra, often setting her stories in Minnesota. 

Besides having a love of all things reading and writing, Anna enjoys being active, whether it’s running, playing slow pitch softball, or attending group fitness classes. She has a passion for baseball and hockey, namely the Minnesota Frost, Minnesota Twins, and the Minnesota Wild.
